DungeonSports Map: The World

For a long time, the DungeonSports Coliseum has only existed in the twisted mind of Voivode Kohoutek. Today, we are proud to announce that we have siphoned a bit of his knowledge onto the page! This map is a little inexact, but it does provide the relative positions of the major points of interest here on the back of the old astral shieldbeast. The DungeonSports Map is available now as a tray mat in the DungeonSports FoodCourts!

This map cements the world of the DungeonSports Coliseum. It lets us see how the major factions in the complex are positioned. The devils have Asmodeus Tower, looming over all other structures on the back of the shieldbeast. The coliseum is heavily beholden to the Hells for resources, and the devils wanted a visual demonstration of this influence in the shape of a 9-story office building.

The demons find themselves on the far side of the shieldbeast’s back. They inhabit a landfill that has turned into a skin ulcer on the back of the giant creature. Their presence has frustrated the efforts of the Arena Gnomes to heal this wound. Speaking of the Arena Gnomes, we get our first peek at their home, a four-sided step pyramid made of slate grey stone.

What’s Next for the DungeonSports Map?

I’m continuing to work on the lore of this world, and the map will help provide a basis for that project. In the upcoming version of The Apocryphon, I will be presenting the coliseum as a possible campaign setting. I’m really excited to see this world continue to grow!
