Twitch audience interactions on the Dungeonsports Channel have three currencies, which I admit is a bit confusing, but welcome to Twitch! Some interactions use “gold”, some use “channel points”, and some use “bits”. Gold and and Channel Points accrue based on how long you view one of my streams, and interact. Bits are a form of tipping, and so the interactions involving bits are a bit bigger.
Bits
- 100 bits – Wild Magic! – Roll a D100 on the Wild Magic Table and see what happens.
- 150 bits – Create an NPC, but one that probably won’t live very long – Give me a name and some facts, and I’ll add a character who will probably end up dead before too long.
- 250 bits – Give a common magic item – Tell me what item and who it goes to, or I’ll give a random item to a random PC.
- 500 bits – Crit Hit or Crit Miss – Tell me what roll you want to make really good or really bad. It absolutely cannot be used on death saves.
- 750 bits – One sentence added to the GMs narration – Tell me what you want me to say. If it would violate twitch TOS, or be inappropriate in some way, you can propose something else. If it’s part of the game, and not super disruptive, it’s cannon!
- 800 bits – Give an Uncommon magic item – same as above, but uncommon!
- 1000 bits – Three sentences – Same as above, with the same caveats, but three sentences.
- 1500 bits – Create an NPC, one that will be a returning character – Same as above, but they will be a recurring character.
- 2000 bits – Random card from the deck of many things – Indeed, some people just wanna watch the world burn. I’ll roll a card at random. If a player offers to take it, I’ll give it to them, if nobody wants it, I’ll assign it at random.
Chat Commands
Chat commands interact with the bots active on the channel, and can help you accrue gold. All of these interactions are available regardless of which of our programs are running at the time.
!redeem gmreroll
- Use 100 points earned in chat minigames to force the GM to reroll their last d20.
!redeem PoH
- Use 500 points to toss a healing potion to a player. If you don’t give me a name it lands on the ground, up for grabs.
!points
- Check points and gold totals from chat games
!heist
- Take part in a robbery of the Coliseums treasure vault. If you win, you get some gold.
!duel
- Invite another chatter to duel.
!roulette
- Bet some points on an imaginary roulette game.
!heist
- Burgle the Coliseum’s vault.
!quote
- View a random quote from the Coliseum.
Channel Points
Due to the differing content, different options are available with Channel Points, depending on the program.
Dungeonsports Coliseum
- Health Potion – They need your help, Give them a few HP or help them revived a downed ally with a healing potion. Say who it’s for, or it lands on the ground.
- Fireball – Throw a fireball into the Arena! The fireball will be targeted on a random player or monster. It will explode 1 round after the the target is declared.
- Make Me Preeeeetty – Am I not wearing facepaint yet? Make me fix that…
- Your Rock ME? – Throw a rock from the stands. Please say who or what you are targeting.
- Get in the Game – When you purchase this reward, I’ll send you a link to our Discord server. While there you’ll be able to interact with me and the players, and sign up for games.
Dungeonsports Everdown
- Make Me Preeeeetty – Am I not wearing facepaint yet? Make me fix that…
- Your Rock ME? – Throw a rock from the stands. Please say who or what you are targeting.
